Alright F1 fans, start your imaginary engines! We all know the drill by now: a new year means a new Formula 1 season, and with that usually comes a brand new F1 game from Codemasters and EA Sports. So, looking ahead, what could F1® 25 on the PlayStation 5 be like?
Now, remember, the game isn't officially out with all its details yet. But based on how these games usually go and what the PS5 can do, we can have a pretty good guess and get a bit excited!
What We Can Pretty Much Bet On:
All the New Season Stuff: This is a no-brainer. F1® 25 will almost certainly have:
The 2025 Drivers and Teams: All the official drivers, the latest team names, and those cool new car designs (liveries) for the 2025 season. We'll see who's driving where and what their cars look like!
The 2025 Tracks: The official race calendar for 2025 will be in the game. If there are any new tracks added to the real F1 season (like maybe that Madrid circuit people are talking about), or any changes to existing ones, they should be in F1® 25.
Using That PS5 Power: The PlayStation 5 is a beast of a machine, so F1® 25 will look and feel great:
Amazing Graphics: Expect stunning visuals. The cars will look super realistic, the tracks detailed, and the weather effects (like rain) will be even more immersive.
Super Fast Loading: Nobody likes waiting. The PS5's quick loading times mean you'll jump into races faster.

Even Better Driving Feel (Physics): Every year, they tweak how the cars handle. We're always hoping for it to feel even more like you're really wrestling a super-fast F1 car. Will it be easier for beginners or more challenging for pros? Hopefully, a good balance.
Deeper Career Mode: The main career mode, where you drive for an existing team, is a big draw. Players always want more things to do, more realistic challenges, and more drama in their journey to become champion.
More Fun in "My Team": The mode where you create and manage your own F1 team is super popular. More ways to customize your team, design your car, and make important decisions would be awesome.
Another "Braking Point" Story? The story modes in recent F1 games have been quite popular. It would be cool to see another chapter or a brand new story following fictional drivers and their F1 careers.
Smarter Computer Drivers (AI): We all want the computer-controlled cars to race more like real F1 drivers – making clever moves, defending properly, and maybe even making a few mistakes!
More Realistic Damage: Crashing should have consequences! Seeing more detailed car damage that actually affects how your car drives would add to the realism.
F1® World Improvements: This hub for different game modes and daily challenges was new in recent games. Hopefully, they'll make it even more engaging with new stuff to do.
Other Bits and Bobs:
Customization: More ways to personalize your driver, helmet, race suit, and car liveries are always welcome.
Online Racing: Multiplayer is huge. Let's hope for smooth online races and fair play.
VR Support? If previous F1 games have supported PlayStation VR2, then F1® 25 likely will too, putting you right in the cockpit!
When Can We Expect It?
F1® 25 game is now available to buy on PS5 and more feature or update usually come out around the middle of the year, often in the summer months (June, July, or August). We'll probably start seeing official announcements and sneak peeks in late spring or early summer.
